Another bogus compi from Jamaican Recordings. Quite obviously some of the tunes aren't related to Pablo ("Wayout Rockers" for example) and some aren't "dub" but instrumentals, i. e. Pablo plays the melodica (one time it's harmonica, not sure if the artist really is Horace Swaby) over dubby versions. But anyway - it is a nice one for some reason: I know these tunes for decades and many of them remain my top favs when it comes to reggae ... I've to admit that I was quite puzzled to listen to different mixes of well-known recordings (some with spoken intros that appear to be not original). But there are quite a few ruff versions and killer dubs on this CD. So IMO this is among the best you can get if it comes to dubby reggae music with the Pablo-feel.

My copy is fine- normal sound levels and no noise- probably one for the fans, as it is all alternative takes - nothing wrong with the pressing

i tried to hear it on youtube as i normally do before i buy any record and due to copyright infringement its been removed?!?! come on people just put a few clips and not the full version or at least martin campbell could promote it better by doing a video himself and hear a sample of each tune ect, poor music management and pirates ruining it for those of us that buy the vinyl and support the artist,,,,,i read the other comment and maybe due to bad pressing martin campbell is not promoting it?? until i hear the record i am not buying it as i hate shit sounding pressed copies and although i love the album by kendrik andy another night in the ghetto you put on your label LOG ON it has a blip in the pressing on track how sweet it is and i am not sure at what point the pressing went wrong but it sticks and i bought another copy for it to do the same thing,,,, not good and should of been noticed before it went on sale, just test play every 100th copy that comes off the press and if a problem occurs you can work your way back and solve the issue instead of letting it go on sale and as they are numbered there is nothing worse than having a badly or a pressing with a blip,,,,
