Here's another Baktabak interview picture disc, this time from the band Dire Straits. As you will see from the artwork, there is no recording date or location, however the release date is listed as 1993. (Amazon lists the release date as 26 October 1993.) Based on some of Mark's comments around the 2:30 point, this recording would have been made in the early 1984 as Mark points out that he recently completed mixing "the live album" - which would become ALCHEMY - and the fact that he just completed two soundtracks. An unknown male interviews Mark in an undisclosed location (with a lot of traffic noise in the background!) about a myriad of topics including success, playing live, creating film scores and working on David Knopfler's "latest album." As with most Baktabak interview discs, the recording starts and stops rather abruptly. There is only one track om the disc.
