This mix is from 1994 and really put Diggers on the map and made people take note.He creates a real journey just with a box of hand picked vinyl, 2 technics and fantastic mixing. Even in 2018 there are DJs who still can't match this.It has ambient, deep house, tech, dark stuff, percussion, progressive and the early hall marks of prog trance and loads of vocals which are really missing nowadays. It's a masterclass in set building, vinyl hunting and mixing, check it out, even if you just listen on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Qy25bwmkM8

Is that spotters Delight a sample of doop or taken from an actual track that doop sampled? loved that the first time i heard it on this cd. I know that Digweed did play doop when it was around so this has had me wondering for years. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I think it is the dub or the david morales dub of Doop by Doop which diggers used to play in live sets. There is no release for spotters delight even as a white label or promo.

Another track list from 1993 featuring Doop here http://sbradyman.angelfire.com/bradyman/dig-lisa.htm

I can't message you, so here's a tracklist. He did play Doop, for context lots of people did. That's why it went on to become a chart hit. http://sbradyman.angelfire.com/bradyman/rhumba-27-12-93.htm

Have a look on Youtube. I've seen it feature on JD tracklists from 1993, but I know of one definite from the Rhumba club in Arbroath from 1993 which I've heard.

Cheers for the info mate. Is there any links on cogs about these bootlegs?

It's Doop before it was given the title Doop by its producer. There are several bootleg recordings of club sets featuring it. He was playing Doop and would usually mix something like Diddy Give Me Love into it.

Good insight as to what Digweed was playing at the time. This mix builds from a spacey trippy sound into his usual progressive style(for the time). Recommend a purchase - although I've seen these go for about £25 on e-bay. And yes that is a Duran Duran track on there!
