I went through a pink and black copy, both were about the same on surface noise. Haven't tried the VMP.

The Japanese and VinylMePlease editions of this album are suburb. I would suggest trying to get one of those pressings.

There is nothing I hate more than hearing the words "splatter vinyl". Splatter = Looks pretty/sounds like garbage to me.... Well not this release! It is a FANTASTIC pressing! And a Jag pressing at that! I'm truly shocked!! P.S. Sex & Food is still my Album of the Year ('18) pick! XOXO

Quite a few styles on this record with neo-soul ballads being the most prominent. The compositions remind me of Thundercat but less jazzy without the solos. The Psychedelic Rock tracks are catchy and fuzzy, I like them. There's also a groovy disco/house track in there!

Ludwig doesn’t cut lacquers any more, he only masters digitally. The lacquers for the vinyl will be done by someone else. Ludwig mastered his last album but John Golden cut the vinyl.

My copy came with a signed poster/insert. Not sure if this is the correct release but jeez, what an album this is.Through and through interesting and diverse mix of tracks. One of those albums you cant really skip any track with, just enjoy the adventure!

Okay. I have no idea what is happening. But the second half of this record is literally just the second half of Arctic Monkeys' "Whatever They Say I Am, That's What I'm Not". The first half is completely fine and is the normal UMO setlist, but then it just changed to Arctic Monkeys for no reason. Maybe this has to do with the Vinyl Me Please pressing of their debut, which I coincidentally ordered (it's in the mail), but why??? It's different labels from different decades, I'm just so confused. Does anyone else have this bizarre issue?

Oh, now I can at least know what album it is from. I was very confused when I flipped to the B side. I like Arctic Monkeys, not enough to have bought that album though. Bummed my album is not complete.I bought my copy from their site, not the VMP.

That's really odd. Did you order the Vinyl Me, Please exclusive pressing of this album? Or just the indie version (this release page)? If you're talking about the VMP version, then that would make sense - there must've been some kind of pressing mixup when they were pressing the Arctic Monkeys' album at similar times. But if you have this issue with the indie version... well then that's even more weird.

Lovely light 'baby pink' colour and great packaging overall with a proper inner sleeve. Record sounds great too!

my pink is a very soft coloured pink, not as intense as in the picture above. apart from that anomaly, I enjoy this album a lot. might be their best yet. vinyl sounds really nice! after being let down by jagjaguwar pressings in the past a lot, this one is a winner and keeper!
