This is a quality collection of hardcore breaks tracks covering a wide range of styles. There's uplifting hands-in-the-air piano-fests from both Nefti and Base Club and a trip to darker territory with R.I.P. Danger's excursion. All tracks take what was best from the classic era of 1991-1992 hardcore/rave (hoovers, pianos and breakbeats) and competently ensure that those sounds will continue to feel fresh.My personal favourites from this release are Base Club's simple, but devastating 'Feel It' with it's bouncy bassline, amens and euphoric acid (?) riff and the nasty sounding 'Dead Man' from R.I.P. Danger. Which contains an awesome stabby piano, spooky synth sound and screeching breaks.An excellent EP this one.
