Notes

The Glass Box is a 5'6" cubic percussion sculpture created by Barry Prophet in 1987. The instrument contains 52 glass notes of various dimensions which are vertically suspended from the frame. The Glass box has toured to art galleries, theatres, festivals, universities, schools and museums, introducing audiences to the expansive range of texture and tone available in commercial grade glass.
