Full disclosure... I played on this record. Just want everyone to know that this is probably the best show we ever played. Maybe a couple of other shows that didn't get recorded were in the top tier, but start to finish this one is great. We found the magic, and got every second on DAT. I still listen to this record, and get blown away by some of the weird improvs that went down. The Moog BBQ title comes from the heat that was baking my Moog, and making it an adventure to play. It was mostly staying in tune, but there's a couple of belches that come out of the flames! We finish up with a super long Leonard that devolves into twisted samples from the Wicker Man movie, and Paul tuning in demented stuff coming in live from the BBC on the shortwave. You have to hear it all. We tagged another track onto the disc, Born to Goa, that came from another gig. I think it was Cloudwatch in Baltimore. Another good show. Enjoy!
