The best version of this track is without doubt DJ STOMPY's on essential platinum label, NEP8. for me this has always been one of the best happy hardcore vocal tunes, its just so beautiful, the lyrics, the voice, the construction, STOMPY was the best at what he did, I was hooked on anything and everything he brought out. I thought id add where this song originally came from since no one else has mentioned it. The song is just as nice in its original form from the film SHORT CIRCUT, it had the robot in called JOHNNY 5. "Come and Follow Me", by Max Carl and Marcy Levy. The song played during the ending credits of the 1986 film, "Short Circuit". The soundtrack for Short Circuit was never published, and neither was the Original song.

I have a white-label copy of this, which doesn't appear to be listed on Discogs.

DJ Stompy's 2000 remix is without doubt still better than the Fade and Bananaman remix, if you ask me.
GODMAX
2 Remixes of arguably DJ Stompy's most popular track, and i must say, possibly the best. It is also a happy hardcore anthem in every way and one of my all time favourites. A. Come follow me (Brisk Remix). It is the harder remix of the 2. Hard hitting kick, a very nice intro, smashing clap, hi hat breakbeats. Then we get a great hard stab and some synth patterns. The first breakdown showcases an arp type of lead, leading into the memorable piano break and lyrics. The climax i dont like to much, as it isnt too uplifting, but the snare roll leads it into the way things should be! String and pads and vocals come in again. We now have a break, with a breakbeat, sounds almost like a drum and bass break, which leads back into stabs etc and comes in another melody and rhythm. After this, again another breakdown, beuttiful vocals again, semi-annoying arp sort of lead again. It gradually dies down. In all in all, i dont really like this remix much, its much in a different flavour which i dont like which is most likely preference. B. Come follow me (Remix) Stompy's own remix! We start off here with lush pads, and chimes with the beutiful vocals, then the vocals are stuttered and draged on for a few bars, which builds tension to the next bit, amazing and beutifully subtle! Amazing square melody, piano rhythm, strings, stab is faded in and then in comes the stompy kick and vocals. Amazing, flawless! Non stop stomping, cheesy madness! Drawing near to the end, the square lead makes it very anthemic and uplifting! This song is simply amazing! Overall, the A side is not my style, B side is absolutely amazing. Could be one of the best happy hardcore tracks produced, it IS an anthem! You cant get much better. You simply just cant! It is not possible.
