Like a few others have already alluded to. This release was always and will only be about the Notice The House Mix. No other version comes close. Deep, hot, sweaty, raw and seriously infectious. One of the most profound basslines of that era. Solid kicks, reverbed, gated snares, super crisp drum programming, hypnotic flutey synth and Sandee's interspersed edited echoing vocals. Massive during the so called UK Summers Of Love 1988 - 1989 moving into 1990. On most DJs' playlists from pirate radio, dodgy dark clubs to massive raves in fields. When pure house music still had a real serious edge and Chicago, NYC, NJ, Detroit, Toronto basslines ruled the roost.

Love all the variants of notice me... haunting vocal tones.... My all time favourite version is of sandee notice me track but its a early 90's hardcore / techno bleep / breakbeat flip using the notice me vocals .. a favourite of stu allan in many of his uk hardcore / breakbeat sets .. in fact i think i heard it first on his sunday evening radio show -- "souled out, with stu allan"... anyone able to clear the mist and tell me the artist name of it as i so want to be buying it now im all grown up with my very own funds!!! i think it was something like uxb notice me uk white label track????anyone free chicken if you can assist.. TY AndroYD

I'm assuming it's not Ital Rockers - Dreams per chance? Doesn't tick the hardcore and breakbeat side, but definitely ticks the techno & bleep side of things.Ah! Wait a second. Cyanide 45 - Notice Me also samples much more of the Sandee vocal and it's closer to your description.

Ha I've just purchased this again due to skank twas, it's a masterpiece.

What is all this mentioning of the house version? Its nice, but I like the Freestyle Vocal the best; Classic C&C Freestyle..

One of the firsts serious house records I had back in 1989, since then, going in and out of my bag from time to time!!

I was late to the party with this record. The first time I heard it, or recall hearing it, was at Deep in Los Angeles. David Morales laid this one down. White label of course. I had to find Marques Wyatt to find out the name of the track. One week later I found it digging in the bins at Amoeba Music. Definitely a timeless piece of music and one of the better remixes by Civilles & Cole. Deep and dark. Must have for any serious collector.

The common househead will surely recognize Sandée's "Notice Me" in Kenny Dope's plain rip off "Jam The Mace" under his House Syndicate moniker (1990). Too bad that apparently almost no one knows that this astonishing piece of music is the original version. Remarkable and top of the shelf record, top class. Strange that it doesn't get the merits that it deserves.

I didn't knew until I heard it, but artists such as Laurent Garnier used to play that magnificent House tune made by the masters Clivilles & Cole (there is a recorded set of the French DJ at Maximum Rave of 1991 with this classic on the repertory). To be Honest, I think it's one of the wickedest tunes made by C&C, it's pity that most of the people from the mainstream heard only about C&C Music Factory (even if this classic appeared on "Best Of House Music Vol 3" compilation). Not only the hypnotic beats are impressive, but also the dub echoes of Sandra Casanas' vocals, which make this a very serious tune. I have heard a tune with very similar beat lines back in the beginning of the nineties, though with different vocals. Olivio Neres was the record store owner to introduce me "Notice Me" for the first time, I thank him for that.
Crazy
Incredible deep bass heavy House music from two certified Dance music legends, Clivilles & Cole. This tune rocks like no other in a club and considering it was created in 1988, still sounds amazingly fresh today. Storming House music of the very highest order that is haunting & hypnotic and good for your bass bins man!
