One of Robert Fabrie most remembered production during the Gabber era. Hardcore Power was released during the “holy era” of Gabber music and became a successful hit by the fans and the DJs made it a “must” track in most playlists on parties. Robert Fabrie’s Waxweazle-sound was very much generic-gabber back in the days. Distorted low middle EQ 909, heavily distorted clap, and the skilled use of a Roland Juno synth. In one way, this track really didn’t bring anything new to the sound, it was just a very well done production from Robert, and with the use of his “Hardcore” and “Hardcore Power” vocals that became iconic and has been sampled hundreds of times by producers. I love this track, as much as listen to it and to beatmix it when I am spinning music on parties. The Hellsound verison of this track brought a bit more aggressive and dark gabber sound to it, but otherwise pretty much remain the same sound-wise.
