I wouldn't say Cocteau Twins since Bethany Curve sound like no one else, and no one else sounds like them. I digress though, it's definitely a worthy follow-up to 'You Brought Us Here', with the only shame being that we've yet to get a follow-up to Flaxen itself since it's release in 2004.

I would describe it as Cocteau Twins junior. Not in a bad way though because they do it well. This album is lush and beautifully atmospheric. I say for Dream Pop and Shoegaze fans this will be a great addition to your collection.

And yet the label owner works or worked with Simon Raymonde. Yet you say If I knew Cocteau Twins only my comparison would be perceptive? That sounds like you proved my point. because if I knew them at all I would know this band's music is indicative of the Dream Pop sound of Cocteau Twins.
