A1: House. Very generic by numbers mildly funk remix of the sublime A2. Ok it's not quite as bland as all that but you're just wasting time. Move the needle on a couple of inches. [FIVE]A2: Jazz/Funk/Electronic: Can't help thinking of 60's car chase movies when I hear this. Not so much a soundtrack to the car chases of Bullet or The Streets of San Francisco but a modern riff on the music we might hear in the pubs and clubs our heroes might stop in at the end of the day. Effortlessly cool, terrifically funky and smooth and a delicious organ joined by some immense brass. Hard to beat. [GOLDTEN]B1: Jazz/Big Beat. The in your face, max funk version of the B2. Funky period bassline, with late 60's style jazz flute. Lots of fun as big beat was intended to be. Breakdown a little too often to be top drawer but it's peaks are dynamite. [NINE]B2: Jazz Funk. More authentic late 60's experience albeit with more modern beats. Much more subtle and demure than it's B1 equivalent but no less drenched in body moving funkiness. There's genuine progression in the track and not a reliance the breakdown-punch of the B1. Proper Jazz noodling loops. Excellent but a shade off the flip. [TEN]
