This is it. It exists !!!! The last of the Hit Boxes. With a completely different artwork from it's predecessors, with all the artists written in the front cover (the first time in the Hit Box series). Published around 1999, the last of the declined in that era series, is a mixture of house, trance, latin and pop sounds from well known artists like Scooter, Brooklyn Bounce, 666, Critical Mass (the happy hardcore legends of the 1995....with a shameful song) and Ferris (Soren Buhler the former member from Scooter and cousin of H.P.Baxxter) and ooops, nothing else. Except if you consider that remixes like California dreamin, Heartbreak hotel, Orinoco's Groove and the legendary song from Abba Arrival, or even the latin style Bambole ole fit in a Hit Box compilation. Ok, the game was lost after Hit Box 10 and the music style transformed into something very different and commercial. The problem is that the end should have come earlier, as i have stated in a previous review. Of course Hit Box 16 is nothing special, will not be missed by anybody as far as the songs, for example 666 had a lot of better songs that era like Paradoxx, I'm your nitemare, but for a collector like me it's a privilege to have the whole series although some chapters are not worthy musically and that was the only reason i bought this cd. We will be forever young and we will remember always the good times we spent listening to the first 10 chapters.
