The "Eugene Acklin" pseudonym on "Yes I'm Ready (If I Don't Get To Go)" was necessitated by the fact that it was originally published by an ASCAP affiliate, and Eugene Record was a BMI member. (Another "Eugene Acklin" composition, "We Are Neighbors," was actually penned by Record with Quinton Joseph.) By the time the U.S. release came out, "Yes I'm Ready" was switched to Brunswick BMI-affiliated publisher, thus Record and Reve' Gipson could be duly credited.
