Among the best in jazz of that era. My mother worked for a distributor who gave it to her when she told him of my interest in jazz. I listened to these artists I had never heard of. I was steeped in Coltrane, Miles, Monk, Rollins, the MJQ and others. But these men on this album seemed to have a style all their own and beautiful. I was only 15 years old at the time but I thoroughly dug them. Unfortunately, I lost all of my vinyl in a divorce.
