"Ten Hertz" was the opening track of the TV show "10 Hertz", presented by italian singer Gianni Morandi during 1978-1979 on RAIUNO, the main public channel in Italy. Written and produced by Vincenzo "Vince" Tempera, this is the only known release of this obscure duo. Both tracks here are quite interesting: the "Parte Prima" (first part), has a short dreamy intro and relies much more on the vocal refrain, the "Parte Seconda" (second part) is the more interesting one: a heavy attack of swirling synths literally blows you away and the rest is really explosive material. Flemming Dalum has been one of the first DJs to rediscover this gem (included in his famous mix "Boogie Down Rimini"), and from that moment on has been highly sought after among collectors and DJs.To my opinion this is a quite unique and essential release of the italian electronic disco scene, a real masterpiece that even nowadays keeps unaltered its magical power and is, for sure, a really expensive release that will definitely increase value as time goes by and that will definitely get any audience to pack your dancefloor.
