In Broken Homes represents the harsh side of Leæther Strip. Moderate distorted vocal, some strings with driving bassline (one the most famous trademark of Claus Larsen) makes the track an up-tempo electro-industrial tune, similar to the Self Inflicted era. Paranoia 13 is a good mixture of Claus Larsen’ different source of inspirations: melody, synths sound comes from new wave era and a small doses of EBM can be found too. After the long sampled speech (from a documentary about paranoia) Claus slightly filtered vocal starts and the tracks slowly turning into a danceable electro tune and you will move into the dancefloor involuntarily. The singles featuring the instrumental versions of both tracks. These stripped down mixes are working well, both have a special atmosphere, brings totally different emotions to the listeners like the original versions.
