Mongst is jv_dub is Jeremy Van Wyck. "We ain't got nothing yet" was improvised and recorded straight to tape, no overdubs, no edits in Vancouver, B.C. and Bognor, Ont. between summer 2010 and fall 2011.

A good deal more introspective than some of his work with Aerosol Consellations, or even as Mongst. The album plays as a doom metal movie soundtrack heard from another room - condensed, dynamically attenuated, distortion soaked and leaving the listener with the question of what precisely she or he is hearing.Each side of the cassette starts with guitar feedback solos that are just downright pretty, but 'An Ocean Of Insects' is the most interesting piece, with rather atonal drones resolving themselves as different samples weave in and out of the song.Also probably the best Mongst cover yet.
