Incorrect. It doesn't sample Johnny pearson. It's from Lalo Schifrin's "Jim On The Move" - which Pearson was himself imitating in HIS track - common practice on many library album sessions.

It was common for library records at that time to plagiarise other tracks - due the sheer volume of material they had to record in the sessions, they often just did variations of what was around at the time - "soundalikes".Do your homework before shouting out sample names.
