HARDBEAT, the story so far..

Winter '89, a new style of heavy dance music rapidly spreads across Europe. They call it Hardbeat. It sounds strange but everywhere it generates the same reaction, delirious dancefloors. The leading company promoting this music is 'Complete Kaos Records.' Arguably there's no other record label boss who stamped his own mark on his product as much as Maurice Engelen has on 'Complete Kaos.' Every record bears its hallmark.

Complete Kaos' effect was incredible on the Belgian dancefloors. Hardbeat is the perfect link between Electronic Body Music and New Beat. More and more clubs are turning into the Hardbeat sound with its hard industrial beats.

'I won't accept anything less than complete control of the label. I also realised when i conceived 'Complete Kaos' that i had to make it special. I had to integrate sounds and effects which would be unique to me. My basic philosophy is that anything can be done if you're surrounded by the right people. I'm part of the family, it's as simple as that.' (Maurice Engelen)
