Notes
Re-issue on CD of the original TICO High Fidelity (A Division of Roulette Records Inc.) LP of the same title. It contains a bonus track, the track "La Coquette" (originally the B side of the single "Lullaby of Birdland".)
Astor's name is misspelled on the cover as "Astor Piazola".
Personnel corrected after interview with pianist (not percussionist) Carlos Rausch (not "Rauch"), a picture from the session, and on aural evidence. Pacheco probably played güiro and Rodríguez, bongos, as well as drums on two tracks. On "La Coquette", percussion includes castinets, triangle, tambourine, and congas or bongos. Tito Puente's and George Duvivier's presence has always been speculative.
