In 20 years time this album will be seen as a landmark. It was developed just as indie dance and electronic dance combined, which was a mean feat for the two historically divided genres. Guitars and synthesizers are in the same band again, and it's refreshing. Bands on this album like Soulwax, DFA 1979, Bloc Party and The Kills meet producers like Tiga, Stuart Price (aka Jacques lu Cont), Erol Alkan and Paul Epworth to stunning effect, and then there's the original versions by artists as cool as The Long Blondes, Cut Copy and Fiery Furnaces. A classic album!
