My copy of the cassette recently shed its emulsion onto my cassette heads (an ugly white deposit - I had to stop the tape and give the machine a thorough clean). Though it still plays the sound is not as glorious as it used to be and I suspect that the whole batch might be deteriorating through age. I'm thrilled that the Sonoluxe CD was issued. It's such a fabulous album and it is possibly Bill's greatest "songs" album.
