I remember I was really pleased with Burnin up when I wrote it, wanted to have a nice 303 in the mix which I think worked well. I did try and get Steve Thomas to sign this as he was running Tripoli Trax at the time, gave him the demo one night at the Chunnel Club in Vauxhall, it wasn't until a few months later after signing to Slick Sluts that we were out at Frantic @ Bagleys and Steve dropped this in his mix and it was the best feeling ever seeing the main room go nuts for my track, good feeling, he also reviewed in it M8 magazine. I achieved 3 of my goals with this track, 1st to produce and mix down in my home studio, 2nd to have a top hard house DJ play my track out, 3rd to be reviewed in a magazine.
