This record is just another newbeat cover of an old EBM-track. Funkmeister's War Dance is being transformed to a version where the beats are stronger, and an acid line is snaring over. Not a bad remake, even when you know the original.

An infectuous hit of Acid New Beat, "War Beat" would surely be considered a politically incorrect tune today, because of the references to the nazism, with fragments of Hitler's speeches. Although keeping a message of criticism through different samples like the one of Wiston Churchill for the liberation of Europe and other saying "Germany calling", or even "Adolf, you're going to pay", representing the call for freedom, the track had evident bellical references, with an omnipresence of World War II elements. Curiously, the time when the tune was made, there was a simultaneous emergeance of the extreme right on many countries of Europe spreading xenophobic ideas, like Front National in France or even the National Demokratishe Partei in Germany, with many young supporters. Scary!

This is a very political correct review, but seems to overlook historical facts. Nazisme was a leftwing political movement. Therefor, the quotation of being 'extreme right' is not correct. Front National and NPD are products of todays democratic votes on their ideas. They do not call themselves as being the ideological offspring of national-socialism. So, if there is something scary about this, then it is why people are so stupid to believe in those false allegations!
